Best Drive-Thru Coffee Shops in Fargo (Map Included!)

coffee shops fargo

My good ol’ Mr. Coffee pot gets me through the day, but sometimes I am craving something a little more unique than my typical “reheated in the microwave at least three times before I ever get to the bottom” coffee. Sometimes we need a treat from one of the great coffee shops in Fargo.

So, call it a field trip, buckle in the kids, and head to one of these locally-owned Fargo coffee shops with a drive-thru.

Thanks to our friends at Thunder Coffee for sponsoring this guide!

Community. Driven. Coffee.

Thunder Coffee exists to create a sense of community through coffee. You will often find them using their space to bring people together, to collaborate with local non profits or to uplift other small businesses, artists and makers. They take the time to ensure that your drink will taste great and they treat you well in the process. They offer several unique drinks and flavors, house-made baked goods (try their home made Pop Tarts!), roast their own coffee, and even make all of their syrup flavors in house. Make sure to watch their seasonal menu as they rotate new, and sometimes odd sounding, drinks. They assure us that they taste through all the not so great versions of the drink first and only serve the ones that taste good!

It’s a great drive-thru stop with the kids (and grown-ups) because every cup of coffee comes with a mini cinnamon and sugar donut on top. So grab a coffee for you and a hot chocolate for the kids (you can even buy a bag of their mini donuts) and go for a drive! Another great feature is that all locations have a kid play area! Beanbags, coloring books, and a basket of toys sit in a cute corner so mom can have coffee with a friend or client while the kids are entertained nearby.

Michaela, along with her husband Jarrod, raise their three young children in Fargo. Michaela grew up on a farm in Western North Dakota, where she developed the strong value of a good day of hard work. So now she rarely sits still. You will find her leading a large network marketing team with Rodan + Fields and running her own training and events company, which developed the Limitless Conference for small business owners. She also loves public speaking and jumps at the chance to share her journey and teach others. You could say she has a passion for growing things... businesses, plants, and people, and feels most blessed to be able to run her businesses from home while growing her family. Michaela hopes to inspire other moms to build businesses and be proud of their personal and professional lives. So often we as moms find ourselves being wrapped in guilt... guilt of working instead of being home with our kids, guilt of being home with our kids and not working, or guilt of being stressed and frazzled trying to do both. But, she believes there is no such thing as balance and if we love our kids and love our careers, both will turn out just fine.
