My good ol’ Mr. Coffee pot gets me through the day, but sometimes I am craving something a little more unique than my typical “reheated in the microwave at least three times before I ever get to the bottom” coffee. Sometimes we need a treat from a great Fargo coffee shop.
So in my craving for a good cup, I of course turned to Facebook. I asked my local friends what was their favorite place.

So… call it a field trip, buckle in the kids, and head to a locally-owned Fargo coffee shops drive-thru.
Beans
Coffee for the Mom with Kids in Tow
The best feature of Beans is that all three locations have a kid play area! Beanbags, coloring books, and a basket of toys sit in a cute corner so mom can have coffee with a friend or client while the kids are entertained nearby.
It’s a great drive-thru stop with the kids (and grown-ups) because every cup of coffee comes with a mini cinnamon and sugar donut on top.
So grab a coffee for you and a hot chocolate for the kids (you can even buy a bag of their mini donuts) and go for a drive!

Thunder Coffee
Coffee for the Mom Connoisseur
Thunder Coffee is one of the newest coffee shops in the area. They started as a pop-up coffee shop, so you may have tasted them around town at different events with their mobile coffee cart.
“They really know the science behind the coffee and they are so kind. All around fantastic group of people,” shared Shelby Ann.
What makes Thunder stand out… they know their coffee. They’ve got a nitro brew perfect for an AM wake up and their drive through is a super easy stop.
Ask for a “Kirby Special” and they will hand you a drip coffee for the morning and two beers to bring home for date night.

Ladybug Latte
Coffee for a Special Mom Treat
I’ve heard they have the best latte in town and the best service to go with it… plus a friendly, positive message left on each cup!
They make a unique drink called a Redbull Zinger.
Vanessa describes, “It’s the only way I can drink Redbull! My favorite is pineapple mango Redbull zinger with mango bobas and a splash of orange juice. I’ve also substituted strawberry for the pineapple flavoring. Anyway they make it is incredible!”
So if you want something creative, head to Ladybug Latte.

Northstar Coffee
Coffee for the Mom-on-the-Go
If you need a quick caffeine perk and are short on time, Northstar coffee is a great pick.
You likely have seen their small cabins in parking lots around town. They are drive-thru only and will get you your drink super fast and with a smile.
A unique perk – they make their own homemade peanut butter latte syrup!

Bully Brew
Coffee for the Dog Mom
Bully Brew loves your dog and welcomes them into their two coffee shops. The shop was even named after the owner’s two bulldogs, Lizzie and Elvis.
So head out on a walk with your pup and make a coffee stop. They’ve got a great chai latte to try and you can even buy treats for your pooch!
