Wondering what to do with the kids on the days school is out? Here are some fun options in our community for school’s day out camps in Fargo!

All-Day Kids Programs

YMCA

The YMCA is open when school’s out! School Out Days take place at the Y’s School Age Learning Centers. Each day has activities to keep kids busy, helping kids to stay active and socialize. There will be interactive projects and themed activities every day. These events are for school-aged children, kindergarten to fifth grade and registration two weeks in advance is required. Family Wellness

Family Wellness offers school’s out camps on select dates. Activities include fun games in the gym, swimming in the pool, and art activities! Please see their website for details and dates.

Court’s Plus

Court’s Plus All Day Camps provide an opportunity for kids to exercise and have fun all day long. Participants should bring two (nut-free) snacks and one lunch. Please note that registration is required 24 hours before the program start time.

Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley offers all day programs on days school is not in session. They provide a safe, caring, and fun environment with the goal of helping kids to connect and learn. These all-day programs take place at the Boys & Girls Club at Midtown and the Boys & Girls Club at Rose Creek. And participants should bring a sack lunch, but will be provided with breakfast, snack, and milk. Registration is required.

Camp Gasper

Camp Gasper is an affiliate of Gasper’s School of Dance, and they offer the perfect solution to days off in summer and throughout the school year at Camp Gasper! Programs are offered for 1st – 8th grade, and allow kids to have fun on those days off of school. Every day is a special theme they will love! Find out more and register here.

Vineyard 2nd Generation

Vineyards 2nd Generation provides a natural environment for language acquisition for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and provides a dual language immersion experience for hearing children. They offer an after-school program and day program on days off school.

Drop-In Childcare

Dino Drop-In Learning Center

Days: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Located in West Fargo, this drop-in childcare provides fun for children ages six weeks to 13 years old. Dino Drop-In focuses on play based education and is a flexible and easy option for days that school is out. See their Facebook page for updates on current curriculum.

Kids Kingdom

Days: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., closed Sunday

Located on 25th Street in Fargo, Kids Kingdom offers drop-in childcare for kids from 18 months to 12 years. They provide a fun environment and keep kids entertained with art and games.
