Parents Night Out Programs & Drop-In Childcare in Fargo

Looking for drop-in childcare in Fargo for just an hour or two: to meet up with a friend, attend an appointment, or just to have a few hours to yourself? Here are some handy options for childcare in Fargo-Moorhead.

Note: This is simply a list of drop-in options in the area and are not recommendations by Fargo Mom. We have not been able to utilize every service below, so please do your own research when choosing a child care provider for your child! 

Drop-In Childcare in Fargo

Dino Drop-In

Days: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Located in West Fargo, this drop-in childcare provides fun for children ages six weeks to 13 years old. Dino Drop-In focuses on play based education and is a flexible and easy option. See their Facebook page for updates on current curriculum.

Giggle Garden (call ahead for availability)

Please note they do not have any opening currently for drop-in care.

Days: Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Friday 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Drop-in childcare in Fargo for babies up to age 8. They encourage learning through play and curriculum.

Kids Kingdom

Days: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Located on 25th Street in Fargo, Kids Kingdom offers drop-in childcare for kids from 10 months to 12 years. They provide a fun environment and keep kids entertained with art and games.

YMCA (members only)

Note: Open to YMCA members only and they must remain onsite. 

Days: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 – 7:30 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., and Sunday 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Open to kids six weeks old to eight years old, they can play for up to two hours per day in this fun spot.

Parents Night Out in Fargo

Camp Gasper

Kids night out at Camp Gasper is a great opportunity for kids grades K-8 to explore games and movement in a fun, encouraging environment. It is also a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to have a few hours to go on a date, run errands or just have some quiet time at home. Find out more on their website!

Code Ninjas

For kids ages 7+. Drop the kids off to play games, assemble puzzles, build robotics and more! Contact Code Ninjas directly to request more information regarding dates and cost.

Courts Plus

Open select Saturdays, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., open to members and non-members. And available for kids six weeks to 11 years old. Pre-register using the Courts Plus App.

Family Wellness

For kids from two weeks to nine years old. Held on one Friday per month from 4:45 – 7:45 p.m. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Fargo All Stars

Drop the kids off for fun and movement on select weekend nights from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Kids can enjoy group games, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and more! There’s one event per month with a different theme each time. Register on their website.

Fargo Climbing

Have bigger kids that love to climb? Check out a Parent’s Night Out at Fargo Climbing! Check their website or Facebook page for dates and times as they pop up.

Four Star Ninja

Their Kids Night Out typically takes place once per month from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. For ages six and up. Check their event calendar for upcoming dates.

ND Elite Cheer

Parents Night Out includes a movie, crafts, and bounce house. Check their Facebook page for upcoming dates!

We Rock the Spectrum

This new gym will have Parent’s Night Out events regularly! We’ll update details once they announce more information.

YMCA

Kids six weeks to 14 years old will have a blast at the YMCA during their monthly Parents Night Out events. Bonus, a healthy meal is included! Registration is required, preferably one week in advance.

Family Wellness

Open for both members and non-members on one Tuesday each month from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Drop off kids ages two weeks to nine years for some active fun.

Conquer Ninja Gyms

For kids ages 6 – 13, takes place on select days throughout the year. Contact Conquer Ninja Gyms for more information on Parents Day Out camps.
