Summer time is near, and now more than ever we are spending time outdoors. Berry-picking season starts soon, so why not load up the family and head out of town for a new adventure? We’ve compiled a list of the berry-picking farms near Fargo within 2 hours of the area!

Farm in the Dell of the Red River Valley
Located just outside of town in North Moorhead, this local CSA farm offers u-pick strawberries during late June/early July. Picking is first come, first serve, and takes place on the farm at 7426 40th Street N, Moorhead, MN. Visit their website to updated growing and picking seasons!
Jayne’s Organic Aronia U-Pik
Located 25 minutes from Fargo in Armenia, ND, Jayne has u-pick aronia berries ready for picking in September. Please see her Facebook page for updates and picking times.
Ohe’s Outpost
Just 50 minutes away near Erhard, MN, Ohe’s Outpost offers strawberries mid-June to mid-July, pre-picked or pick your own. They also offer fresh-baked treats, farm-raised beef, and fresh sweet corn. Please call (218) 842-5243 ahead for hours and availability on products.
Carter’s Red Wagon Farm
Located 1 ½ hours from Fargo in Park Rapids, MN, Carter’s Red Wagon Farm has u-pick strawberries ready for picking in July (crop readiness is dependent on weather and crop conditions).

First Fruits Blueberry Farm
Located 90 minutes from Fargo in Menahga, MN, First Fruits has u-pick blueberries ready mid-July. Please see their Facebook page for the latest updates and picking dates/times.
Country Blossom Farm
