On Fridays, storytime is especially for babies! Baby Boost Storytime encourages connections through language and social interaction. This storytime provides a safe and encouraging space for children ages 2 and under and their caregivers to interact and grow language and social skills through introduction to books, rhymes, signs, and play. Activities from this storytime also help foster an emotional connection between the child and their caregiver which helps to create a positive association with learning and reading.

Older kids (ages 3 to 5) are invited to join us for Early Literacy Storytime instead on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. During this storytime, children and caregivers participate in activities that reinforce early literacy skills through reading, playing and creating in a safe and encouraging space. Reading, singing, talking, writing and play are the focal points of these storytimes. These early literacy fundamentals encourage growth in language development, vocabulary, social skills and creativity which helps to foster a positive connection to independent reading and exploration of learning.
