We all know SCHEELS for their fun games and attractions, iconic ferris wheel, and cafe. But they’ve been hard at work all summer to remodel their to store and add even more FUN for the whole family! My girls and I recently visited to check out what’s new in store, and we ended up spending hours there having fun together.
Here are our favorite new features!
5 New Features at SCHEELS

Ginna’s Cafe + Coffee Shop
While Ginna’s Cafe is not a new feature, it has been fantastically remodeled and is better than ever! They have delicious wraps and salads (both hot and cold), drinks, and an awesome kid’s meal that includes an entree, side, drink, and ice cream!
And much to this mom’s delight, they’ve expanded their coffee offerings to include specialty lattes, cold press coffee, frappes, and more. I tried the Starry Night Cold Press infused with caramel flavoring and some milk – highly recommend! They even roast their own coffee and have bags for purchase.
2. Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory
While this one is a bit more of a kid-favorite, SCHEELS new Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory has some throw-back candy classics you remember from your childhood, plus hand-made fudge, truffles, and other chocolates made just for grown-ups (just make sure to have your hiding spot ready at home).
My kids could have spent hours perusing their walls of bulk candy (if you have a gummy-loving kid at home, this will be their dream!), and we can’t wait to return to get some candy apples this Fall! (Or sooner, we probably can’t wait that long to try them.)
3. Photo Ops
Kid’s love their photo taken, right? And we want to capture every moment we can! There are tons of new fun photo ops at SCHEELS! They include a Vikings football theme, 2 fishing backdrops, a giant chair, the classic Bison “horns,” and even a giant lego Bison. Who knows, maybe you’ll capture your next Christmas card photo!
4. Toyland
We’ve always made a stop in the toy section at SCHEELS to peruse (previously on the top floor). Their newly expanded Toyland is now on the main floor near the kid’s clothing, and it has so many new offerings!
5. Online & Curbside Pick-Up
Every busy moms dream, the enhanced SCHEELS online pick-up options can make it quick and easy to order online and pick up in store. No more searching aisles or waiting in line!
Of course, we had to hit up all the games and attractions while we were there checking out their remodel, and it made for such a fun afternoon! Coffee, lunch, shopping, and play – what more could a family ask for in a day?
Do they still include ice cream with the kid’s meal? We went the other day and they didn’t get any (and I didn’t see it posted anywhere on the menu so I just assumed they did away with it)… but still a great deal!
